Prithviraj Movie starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar | Samrat Prithviraj is glorious

Samrat Prithviraj movie is Based on Prithviraj Raso the film tells the story of the Rajput warrior and king Prithviraj Chauhan of Chauhan dynasty, who clashes with Muhammad Ghori, a ruler from the Ghurid dynasty who led the Islamic Conquest of Hindustan.

The makers of the film Samrat Prithviraj told the Delhi High Court on Wednesday that the film is caste neutral and focuses only on glorifying the Indian warrior and king – Prithviraj Chauhan.

सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान वंश के हिंदू क्षत्रिय राजा थे। उत्तर भारत में 12 वीं सदी के उत्तरार्ध में उन्होंने अजमेर और दिल्ली पर राज किया था। सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान का जन्म साल 1166 में अजमेर के राजा सोमेश्वप चौहान के घर हुआ था। गुजरात में जन्में सम्राट पृथ्वीराज चौहान बचपन से ही प्रतिभा दिखाई देती थी। दिल्ली के राजा अनंगपाल द्वितीय की इकलौती बेटी कर्पूरी देवी पृथ्वीराज चौहान की मां थीं। पिता की मृत्यु के बाद 13 साल की उम्र में ही उन्होंने अजमेर के राजगढ़ की गद्दी संभाल ली।

“The film is caste neutral and the intention is to portray the titular character as an Indian king. There is no mention of King Prithviraj belonging to the Rajput community or the Gurjar community. The film only focuses on glorifying the Indian warrior and king – Emperor Prithviraj,” the producer’s lawyer said in a statement.
